A tool being developed within the CitiPlat / AIUNCA work on climate disinformation, with human editorial review.
Development and purpose
Factora AI is a prototype for identifying climate disinformation, presented in the context of AIUNCA at COP30. It is part of CitiPlat’s work on information integrity.
The intended workflow
- Identify claims and content that may require verification.
- Organise relevant sources and evidence for comparison.
- Support review by journalists and subject specialists, who retain responsibility for the final assessment.
Availability and limits
The work is at prototype and development stage. The workflow above describes the intended use, not a set of publicly released functions. Public access, supported languages and performance measures have not been announced on this site.
AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. A flagged claim requires checking against sources; an automated result does not establish whether a claim is true or false.
Who it is for
The development is directed towards editorial teams, university media and researchers working on climate information. IPSA/CitiPlat defines the editorial context and intended verification needs.
